The cabins were not very clean. The excursions were extremely expensive, with prices that did not seem justified by the quality offered. Overall, the value for money was not adequate.
MSC is much more than a cruise line: it is a true ambassador of Italian style and excellence around the world. On board, you can immediately recognize the Italian flair, elegance, attention to detail, care for guests and a high-quality gastronomic offering. Even when far from home, it is a pleasure to rediscover a style of hospitality that represents Italy so well.
Excellent cruise line, with ships that are always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The food is excellent, both at the buffet and in the main restaurant. The staff are kind, helpful and always smiling. The theatre shows are outstanding. I think these are always wonderful holidays, made even more special by breathtaking scenery, interesting excursions and knowledgeable guides.
Everything was perfect: the organization, the food, the entertainment and the theatre. Congratulations to MSC! This was my seventh cruise: two with Costa and the others with MSC, and I have to say MSC deserves a 10 out of 10 with honours. I hope to go on many more cruises, and I will always choose your cruise line.
They put in a lot of effort and do everything they can. The main weakness is the excessively large ships, which create crowds and an atmosphere similar to a shopping mall on the weekend before Christmas.

After around 15 cruises with both MSC and Royal Caribbean, I can say that I am very satisfied with the organization on board. The food was excellent and well served in the main restaurant. The cabin was clean, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Regarding the pools and sun loungers, until last week there had been many complaints and a lack of supervision, but this week checks were frequent and effective, helping to free up loungers from inconsiderate guests who had reserved them simply by leaving towels on them.
I would like to thank our cabin attendants, Iway and Sila, for the care and cleanliness of our cabin 9242. Every day they created artistic towel animals for us, which we greatly appreciated—so much so that we almost felt sorry to take them apart! I would also like to thank our waitress at La Reggia Restaurant, Joyce Olivera, who was always smiling and helpful. As constructive criticism, regarding the final show at the theatre, Grande Amore, during the Italian evening, we felt that the programme was very Spanish-oriented. Very few Italian songs were performed, and one of them was even sung in Spanish. Overall, the ship feels far less Italian and much more Spanish-oriented, especially when compared with the presence of French- and German-speaking guests.
