It’s not the first cruise I’ve taken with MSC, and I must say that their standards are always very high. All procedures are handled simply and efficiently.
Overall it’s good, but there are some areas that could be improved.
Excellent vacation. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The entertainers did a great job, and the show crew were outstanding. The captain’s welcome speech, as well as the participation of the onboard managers, was greatly appreciated.
Coming from several previous cruises with Costa, we were a bit hesitant at first, but overall we were very pleased with the experience.
A very beautiful and peaceful cruise. We did have some complaints about the cabin cleaning and the replenishment of soap and toilet paper: in fact, we ran out, and despite four calls to reception—and even raising our voices a little to get them—after much insistence, someone finally showed up at 2 a.m.! As for the cabin service… let’s just say it left a lot to be desired! On the other hand, in the “Il Galeone” restaurant, we were lucky to have a waiter who was exceptionally kind, polite, and professional. Thank you, Walter Rodriguez, you’re the best!
I always enjoy travelling with MSC, preferably on the smaller ships.

I have been a loyal MSC customer for nine years, but this time my loyalty has significantly declined. The cabin was constantly dirty — I had to keep calling reception to have it cleaned, but no one ever came to tidy it up. On the first day and night, we couldn’t access the bathroom because the sofa bed was blocking the entrance. The following evening, we were moved to another cabin with a small balcony, even though we had paid for a deluxe balcony cabin. In the new cabin, the tap was broken and was only repaired two days before disembarkation. Yesterday (the day before disembarkation), the bathroom remained dirty all day and there were no towels. Despite several reminders, no one brought us clean towels. After nine years, I think I will switch to another cruise line.
Entertainment was scarce, cleanliness was poor, and the excursion prices were excessive. Some destinations should be reconsidered, as there was nothing particularly interesting to see. Above all, the guides need improvement — if you advertise Italian-speaking guides, they should actually speak Italian. Very little entertainment for teenagers.
