Immerse yourself in nature at as you take two short hikes in the ecosystem of the La Palma, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.


Embark from the pier and board your coach for the 40-minute drive to Mirador de San Bartolo. Bring your camera to capture the panoramic views over breathtaking landscapes of the island.


Continue your drive (30-minutes) and arrive at Los Tilos Forest, the Core Zone of the Biosphere Reserve. Hit the trailhead for what is reputed to be the most beautiful hike on the island. Walk under the canopy of the laurel forest, one of the most important in the Canary Island archipelago. Discover the "laurisilvas" that are part of a group of endemic plant species brought to extinction elsewhere in Europe during the Tertiary Period.


Return to your coach for the trip to Cubo de la Galga. Stretch your legs and your imagination on your second hike of 3 kilometers. Amble along a moderate trail, surrounded by another spectacular laurel forest shaped thousands of years ago by trade winds beating into the mountain. Observe the beautiful wildflowers and birds that make this area home.


Reboard your coach for the return drive to the pier.
