En route, pass through Öland, which has two rather different coastlines; the Kalmar Strait in the west, and Baltic Sea in the east. Upon arrival at Byrum, proceed for a visit to its splendid beach and 'rauks', unique columns of rock formations created by sea erosion.

Byxelkrok Village, Fields of Neptune, Källa Gamla Kyrka Church

Next, re-board your coach and continue on the picturesque fishing village of Byxelkrok. Upon arrival, stop by the 'Neptuns Åkrar' (Fields of Neptune). Named by Carl Linneaus, this geological wonder is situated by the sea, and was formed by glacial action. The stones were shaped by sea waves during last Ice Age. The tour goes through Sandvik with it´s small harbor and the largest windmill of the island. Your last stop is at the Källa Gamla Kyrka, a fortified 12th-century church. Today, it is a popular church for weddings. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 547 yards (about 500 metres), at times over uneven, gravel, sandy, and cobblestone surfaces and hills, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach.
