Beautiful and well-organized destinations.
Nice itinerary, but not enough time.
A lot of time is spent at sea, but it is necessary. There could be a bit more entertainment on the lower decks.
A great itinerary, except for Barcelona, where it took two hours just to get out of the port.
A great itinerary, except for Barcelona, where it took two hours just to get out of the port, under the hot sun!
A wonderful itinerary. Truly wonderful.
All the destinations were beautiful.
Interesting destinations.
Civitavecchia, Palermo, Ibiza, Barcelona and Marseille. Of all the destinations, Marseille was the least interesting, while the others were all very beautiful.
The MSC excursion in Mykonos, which included visits to different parts of the island and the area around Elia Beach, gave us a good opportunity to discover the destination, apart from its nightlife, which we experienced during another excursion. The visit to Ephesus was extremely engaging thanks to our guide, Denise, who was very knowledgeable and skilled at keeping the group interested and curious. The only part I would reconsider is the stop at a leather workshop. It would have been more authentic to visit a small village and get a closer look at Turkish traditions and local culture, for example a Turkish bath, shisha, or a bazaar. In Marmaris, the 4x4 excursion was disappointing, both because of the jeeps used and, above all, because of the much-advertised sandbar. In reality, it was located in a small harbour-like bay where the seabed was muddy, so many visitors did not even go into the water. Our guide in Ephesus had already warned us that this destination is not recommended at this time of year because the sea level is higher, meaning that the advertised experience of walking from one shore to the other would not be possible. The temperature was very high, so after returning to town and following the disappointment of the excursion, we decided not to visit Marmaris, although perhaps that might have improved our day.
Excellent.
The itinerary is pleasant, but for those who have already taken several cruises in the Mediterranean, it may feel rather conventional and lacking in originality. The ports of call are interesting, but most are already familiar and somewhat repetitive, and I would have appreciated a greater variety of destinations. Overall, it is an enjoyable itinerary, but not particularly stimulating compared with other cruise experiences.
Mediterranean, always a top choice
Everything is wonderful
The stops were very beautiful and well organized.
