Continue to Tenshaen, an elegant daimyo garden created during the Edo period for the ruling Date family. Please note: This experience includes approximately 1.6 miles (2.5 km) of walking in total. The visit to Uwajima Castle requires walking uphill and includes numerous steps on uneven surfaces. Guests should be in good physical condition and comfortable negotiating inclines and stairs. Comfortable clothing, sturdy walking shoes, a hat, and weather-appropriate outerwear are recommended.
