Excursion Saint-anne marine national park tour at Mahe Island

Cruise line: Silversea
Difficulty:

Experience Sainte Anne Marine Park, known for its crystal-clear waters, for a half-day (four hours) of sailing, snorkelling, swimming, and relaxing. The marine park is comprised of six islands about five kilometers from Mahe Island.

Embark from your ship and board your comfortable, well-equipped catamaran for a short sail to Sainte Anne Marine Park. Enjoy the stunning, unpolluted ecosystem that is only a short journey from the capital of Victoria.

After a pleasant mini cruise, in which you will have the chance to admire the beauty of the surrounding islands, anchor off Moyenne Island. Here you will be able to explore the submerged cliffs from inside a semi-submersible, swim or simply bask in the sun. Delight the various species as you feed the fish or simply observe them.

Don your snorkelling gear and join the fish. Explore the fantastic underwater world that hosts coral reefs of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Discover the seagrass meadows, among the largest in the granitic islands, and you may be rewarded with a sighting of the green sea turtles that feed on them. Swim in the brilliant turquoise waters and you may find yourself encountering hawksbill turtles or cruising bottlenose dolphins. And once you've had your fill, rest onboard the watercraft.

After two hours of fun, reboard your catamaran and set sail back to the ship.
