Seaplane Flight-Seeing

Depart the pier for the short walk to your awaiting, five-passenger Beaver seaplane. After receiving your safety and flight instructions, board the seaplane and begin exhilarating, approximately 20-minute flight-seeing adventure over the Saguenay Fjord.

Saguenay River and Fjord, New France Site, Cap au Leste, the Sentier Cross Ah! Ah! Bay

Your route takes you over the New France site. From here, soar over Cap au Leste,and the Sentier Cross then Ah! Ah! Bay for a picture-perfect view of the ship. In autumn, Canada's scenery is enhanced by the brilliant red-and-orange colour of fall foliage, making this excursion a truly unforgettable one. At the conclusion of your flight-seeing excursion, return to the seaplane dock, de-board the plane and commence the short walk back to the ship.

Please note: This tour is non-refundable if cancelled within 72 hours prior to arrival in the port. This tour involves a minimal amount of walking for approximately 67 yards (about 61 metres), with a few steps to negotiate to board/de-board the seaplane. This tour is not suitable for guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection and a sweater or light jacket from the ship. Guests whose weight exceeds 350 pounds (about 159 kilograms) cannot participate on this tour. At the discretion of the pilot, guests may be seated according to their weight. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, wildlife and marine life sightings are not guaranteed. The tour sequence may vary. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. Space on this tour is extremely limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
