Please Note: This moderately active excursion involves up to 0.5 mi / 750 m of walking over concrete, asphalt, and tile surfaces with 4-6 steps to negotiate at each venue. All participants must be in good health and free of heart, respiratory, back, leg, hip, or neck conditions. Children 8 and over are welcome, provided they are accompanied by parent/guardian at all times. Food tastings vary by day and season but typically include such dishes as roast bakes and saltfish, accras (fish fritters), stewed chicken/pork/salted pigtail with local sides like breadfruit, dasheen, green bananas, pizza and pasta, and seasonal local fruits. Beverage offerings typically include fresh coconut water, local pineapple/banana rum and/or coconut rum, Piton beer, and bottled water. Wear cool clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Bring insect repellent and your preferred sun protection. The order of sights and activities may vary. Food allergies can be accomodated if you will inform The Shore Concierge Desk at least 72 hrs prior the tour.
