Excursion Journey into the ice: glacier exploration experience tour at Baie-Comeau

Visit the Glacier Exploration Station for an engaging multimedia experience that vividly narrates the history of Québec’s glaciers. Discover their development, take a virtual descent beneath the ice, and investigate the ancient seas that once enveloped Québec.Following your time at the exhibition, partake in a short orientation tour of Baie-Comeau’s heritage district, which features Place La Salle along with its delightful boutiques, galleries, and historic streets, before heading back to the ship or opting to stay in town for further exploration.

Note

Please note: An easy amount of walking and standing for approximately 1 km (0.6 miles), with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is conducted primarily by school bus. Some exhibits are multimedia-based and include sound, lighting effects, and immersive visual projections. Photography is not permitted inside the Glacier Centre. Dress in layers with sturdy, closed-toe, waterproof shoes/boots, and bring sun protection and a weatherproof jacket, hat, scarf and gloves.
