Scenic Drive along the Nærøyfjord

Board your coach for a scenic drive to Gudvangen. Norway's exquisite fjord scenery is perfectly encapsulated along the narrow Naeroyfjord, which is 10.5 miles long and only 820 feet wide at its narrowest point. The fjord is flanked by mountains almost 6,000 feet tall, laced with cascading waterfalls ancient landscapes. Distinguished by its geological qualities and scenic beauty, Naeroyfjord is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kayaking and local picnic

In Gudvangen, climb into your kayak and paddle out on the water for some fjord kayaking, taking in the amazing scenery as you paddle to Bleiklindi and Holmo. Relax over a picnic lunch on the foreshore. Continue kayaking back to Gudvangen, where you will rejoin your coach for your return drive to Flåm (45 minutes), enjoying the magnificent views over the awe-inspiring Sognefjord.

Arrive at the pier to return to the ship.

This tour involves an extensive amount of physical activity and is only suitable to guests in excellent physical conditions. Guests will be provided with waterboots, a sleeveless wetsuit, a life jacket, and a waterproof box for cameras or cell phones. A combination of double and single kayaks are used. Minimum age is 10 years. Maximum height is 6'10". Maximum weight is 265 lbs.
