Excursion Baltic sea glass tour at Ronne

Bornholm offers a wide range of different types of handicraft as w ell as locally inspired art, you will experience during this half-day tour to the Baltic Sea Glass, one of the islands large glass blower workshop and exhibitions.
Hammershus Castle Ruin
Depart the pier and proceed north of Ronne passing some of Bornholm's beautiful forests, farmland and small villages. Some of the drive will follow along the rocky coastline and you will catch several magnificent sea views. A photo stop will be made to take a short look at Hammershus Castle Ruin an old fortress, one of the biggest of its kind in entire Europe.
Baltic Sea Glass
Baltic Sea Glass was established Maibritt Jönsson and Pete Hunner. Today they retired and handed over the workshop, located in a former egg-farm on the edge of the Baltic Sea, to new owners Michael Brandt and Jan Engelbrecht. As previous, they continue to design and produce outstanding art pieces as well as creating one-of-a-kind works for galleries and museum exhibitions throughout the world.
See how they work and create their outstanding glass-art. Some time is available to browse the shop and look around.
Champagne will be served at idyllic Naesgaarden in Allinge along the route.
Gudhjem
Continue to the fishing village Gudhjem. In the town and at the harbour you find lots of liveliness as well as the narrow charming streets of the village. Enjoy some free time to explore the village on your own - perhaps visit one or several of the many other specialized boutiques to indulge yourself in homemade caramels or chocolates.
After this memorable journey, proceed back to the ship.
