Yutoku Inari Shrine

In 1687, the Yutoku Inari Shrine was built upon the request of Kazanin Manko-hime, the wife of Lord Nabeshima Naotomo who ruled the domain of Hizen Kashima. At the shrine, the division of the deity Inari Okami, worshiped by the Emperor, is enshrined. The cult of this deity, the guardian of food, clothing, and shelter, is widespread among Japanese people. All of the buildings including the main hall are done in rich and beautiful lacquer. Behind the main building you can climb a staircase to reach the back shrine, and from this vantage point you can enjoy great views.

Yoko Museum

Saga Prefecture is the birthplace of Japanese Ceramics. Yoko Museum displays ceramics from the Tang Dynasty until the Qing dynasty and works of art made from jade, which was famous as a treasure in ancient China.

Keishu-En Garden

Keishu-En is a Japanese Chisen-kaiyushiki-teien style garden designed by Kinsaku Nakane, known as one of the most gifted garden designers in history. The art museum's garden is one of only a few in Western Japan that is purely Japanese in style. The grounds, feature rock formations using approximately 2,000 tons of rock, waterfalls of various sizes as well as beautiful flowers and tea fields.
