Excursion Whale & dolphin watching in the azores tour at Horta

Situated in the northeastern Mid-Atlantic, the Azores serve as an exceptional location for observing whales and dolphins, with 24 different cetacean species documented. Sperm whales are the most frequently observed, along with various other whale and dolphin species that inhabit these waters.

Led by knowledgeable whale-watching teams, this eco-adventure provides the chance to see at least one species while gaining insights into marine life and the whaling history of the Azores. This experience is tailored for active individuals in good health who are capable of swimming and wish to engage deeply with nature.

Note

Please note: While this tour involves minimal walking from the pier to the coach, most of it is in a RIB boat. This makes it unsuitable for wheelchair users, guests with limited mobility, those with back problems or seasickness, and during pregnancy. Children aged 10 and over may participate. Guests are provided with a waterproof jacket and life vest but should wear long trousers and their own weatherproof jacket, and bring a towel. A hat and sunscreen are also recommended.
