Note

Please note: Republic of Liberia is a very-low-income country with very basic infrastructure, and vastly different to the western culture mentality. Local conditions may be challenging; therefore, we urge flexibility and understanding as we visit unique and somewhat remote destinations. Coaches, guides, equipment, and services are the best-available in the area, but may not be up to the standards of those found on other excursions. A moderate amount of walking and standing for approximately 4 km (2.5 miles). At times over uneven, bumpy surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at various sides visited. Do not take photos of government entities or people without their permission. Please ask your guide for guidance. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed toes walking shoes, sun protection and insect repellant are recommended. Anticipate high temperatures and humidity and we recommend staying hydrated by bringing your water bottle. The order of sites may vary depending on conditions and operational considerations. Guests are informed that tips to local guides and drivers are at the guest’s discretion.
