Depart the pier on a motor coach for the scenic, approximately 1 hour drive from Rijeka along the Opatija Riviera until you arrive to Moscenice. At 173 meters (567 feet) above sea level, Moscenice offers breathtaking views of Kvarner Bay paired with historic, village-life charm. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the town including a visit to its antique olive press. Following the walking portion, guests will be treated to spectacular views whilst tasting local cheese and cured meats paired with a glass of local wine.

Opatija, Guides Tour & Free Time

Opatija, often called "The Pearl of the Adriatic," is one of Croatia's most famous destinations, boasting a tradition of welcoming visitors since 1884. Located at the edge of the Mediterranean and hugging the coast of the Kvarner Bay, Opatija boasts beautiful architecture, azure water views, quality hotels and luxurious, well-tended parks and promenades, all of which offer plenty of possibilities for a pleasant day any time of the year. During its tourist boom in the 19^th century, Kings, writers, philosophers, poets and composers used to stay here - it was a place to see and be seen. Enjoy a guided walking tour through this charmingly posh resort town followed by some free time for shopping or relaxing.

At the conclusion of the tour, guests will board the motor coach for the approximately 30-minute return drive back to Rijeka.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking (approximately 0.5 km / 0.35 miles) on cobblestone streets or uneven surfaces, with over 25 steps to be negotiated.
