Excursion Red sea snorkelling tour at Safaga

This area of the Red Sea is known as one of the best snorkelling spots in the world. Enjoy the opportunity to snorkel among colorful tropical fish and intricate coral formations on this half-day excursion.

Departing from the pier, it is a short drive to the motorboat, where you embark for a journey to discover the underwater marine life of the Red Sea.

After donning a mask and snorkel, enter the water and snorkel amid the marine life. Underwater sightings may include blue-spotted stingrays, grouper, and other rainbow-collared species.

Following this snorkeling adventure, re-board the motorboat and return ashore for the short drive back to the ship.

Note

Please note: This tour requires some degree of physical fitness and guests must be able to swim and maneuver in and out of the boat. It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilize a wheelchair. Guests who wish to participate should be comfortable with wearing snorkel equipment and able to swim in currents which may be present. There is one restroom and one changing room on the boat. The waters of the Red Sea tend to be cold. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, sunscreen and a towel from the ship. All snorkel equipment is provided, however, you may wish to bring your own protective footwear such as fins or aqua socks. Snorkeling location is chosen by the captain and instructor depeding on the weather and guests age, ability and expertise. Two snorkeling stops are included in the tour. Soda, bottled water, tea and coffee and snacks are available on board the boat at no additional charge. Total time on the water is approximately 3 hours.
