Excursion Port lincoln wildlife experience tour at Port Lincoln
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
Visit the restored original homestead and go for a stroll under the beautiful old Eucalypt trees and come face to face with the cuddly icon of Australia as they laze in the Manna gums. Due to the gums being stunted your view to the koala is at eye level.
Wild kangaroos nonchalantly hop around within this historical area, where Scotsman Adam Borthwick and his family made their home in 1842, one of the very first settlers of this region. Whilst strolling through the stunning bushland you may see another famous and native animal to Australia, the Emu. Watch as Emus meander amongst the flock of sheep, and not to forget the amazing birdlife that call this bushland home, some of which are rare and native to this area.
Before leaving, sit back and relax with some refreshments all whilst listening to the sounds of nature.
Board the motor coach and head back to the pier.
