Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 40-minute drive to the Omaka Marae. Nestled among the beautiful landscapes and wineries of Marlborough, the Omaka Marae is the cultural meeting place of local Maori. Your visit today represents a wonderful opportunity to access a living marae (pronounced 'ma-rye'), and its history and people. Upon arrival, receive a traditional welcome and take a guided tour of the carved meeting house.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, at times over uneven, natural, and gravel surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair.
