Cultural and traditional Xhosa Experience - the aim is to showcase Xhosa culture and traditions and day to day life in the village, bringing those who are curious about Xhosa culture, rituals, and traditions in a common place in the community. Guests get up-close and personal with Kwanda villagers and experience what makes Kwanda a proud Xhosa Tribe and their day-to-day life in the village. They take you to the pastime, present and future, sharing their hopes, dreams, fears, and triumph!

Meet your Host (Zoliswa) and the villagers as they welcome you in their community. You will be taken to (Emazangweni Homestead) Zoliswa will share her family story of her Polygamous Grand Father and showcase Xhosa Culture, Rituals and Traditions.

Activities that you will be educated on during your stay -

Learn to do beadwork.

Participate in Xhosa Dress Rehearsal.

Learn IsiXhosa Dialects.

Learn Xhosa Traditional dance (Umxhentso).

Learn the head balance - exercise (Ukungcekelela).

Lean to smear the floor with cow dung (Ukusinda).

Learn to grind Millie corn (ukungqusha/ Ukucola umbona).
