Playa de Maro

Depart the cruise pier by coach for an approximately 70-minute scenic drive along the Costa del Sol to Playa de Maro, one of southern Spain’s most beautiful and unspoiled beaches.
On arrival, meet your professional guide for a short safety and paddling briefing. You’ll be equipped with your kayak, paddle, and life jacket, and receive instructions to ensure a comfortable and safe experience on the water.

Nerja–Maro Cliffs Natural Area, Maro Waterfall

Set off on a guided kayaking tour of approximately two hours, paddling along the breathtaking Nerja–Maro cliffs. Glide across clear waters as you pass sea caves, rock formations, narrow passages, and pristine stretches of coastline, including views of the spectacular Maro Waterfall flowing directly into the sea.

Snorkeling and Coastal Exploration

During the route, stop in a calm area to enjoy snorkeling, with masks provided by the operator, and take in the underwater scenery. Your guide may also capture photos and videos during the experience, conditions permitting.

After completing the kayak adventure, return to shore and reboard your coach for the relaxing 70-minute drive back to the cruise pier, bringing with you unforgettable memories of a wild and natural Costa del Sol experience.

Note

Please note: The tour involves moderate amounts of walking of approximately 0.2 miles (0.3 km) with no steps, mainly on soft sand and uneven beach terrain; this is an active kayaking experience and is not recommended for guests with limited mobility. Participants must be comfortable paddling for about 2 hours on the sea; double kayaks are used (single kayak available for odd-numbered groups). Snorkeling masks, kayak, paddle, and life jacket are included. Public showers and restrooms are available at the beach (some facilities at additional cost). Guests should bring beach shoes, swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, towel, and a change of clothes. Operation is subject to weather and sea conditions.
