Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
Discover Kauai’s beauty on a helicopter tour, flying over Hanapepe Valley, Jurassic Park Falls, Waimea Canyon, Na Pali Coast, and Mount Wai?ale?ale’s crater.
Hanapepe Valley & Jurassic Park Falls
Your aerial journey over Kauai begins as you soar above Hanapepe Valley, blanketed in lush tropical foliage. As the helicopter glides effortlessly over the terrain, you’ll spot cascading waterfalls and hidden canyons before reaching the breathtaking Mana Waiapuna—famously known as “Jurassic Park Falls.” Filmed in countless Hollywood productions, this dramatic and remote waterfall is only accessible by air and is one of the island’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders. The ECO-Star helicopter’s panoramic windows and business-class-style seating offer the perfect vantage point for photographs and uninterrupted views, while two-way communication with your pilot enhances the experience with real-time insights into the landscape unfolding below.
Waimea Canyon & Olokele Valley
The flight continues over the dramatic Olokele Canyon and into the iconic Waimea Canyon, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” Its rich reds, deep greens, and jagged ridges create an unforgettable contrast of color and texture. These natural formations, carved over millennia, tell the story of Kauai’s volcanic past and abundant rainfall. As your helicopter maneuvers through the valleys and rises above plateaus, each turn reveals a new vantage point—more dramatic and photogenic than the last. This portion of the flight showcases the island’s geologic complexity and unspoiled beauty in a way that no land tour ever could.
Na Pali Coast & Mount Wai?ale?ale
The final leg of your flight takes you above the sculpted cliffs of the Na Pali Coast, where emerald spires rise dramatically from the turquoise sea. This untouched shoreline, inaccessible by car, is home to sea caves, secluded beaches, and soaring ridges that seem otherworldly from the air. Weather permitting, the grand finale is a flight into the crater of Mount Wai?ale?ale, one of the wettest places on Earth. With sheer 5,000-foot walls and waterfalls plunging thousands of feet, it’s an unforgettable climax to your adventure. As you return to the heliport, you’ll carry with you not only stunning images but a deep appreciation for Kauai’s raw, majestic power.
