Excursion Journey to the centre of the earth tour at Gros Morne National Park

Explore the rocky Tablelands that gave Gros Morne National Park its UNESCO World Heritage status. Visit the Discovery Centre to learn more about the people, history, landforms and geology of this internationally famous Canadian park - the center includes exhibits, a theater with ongoing presentations, a small gift shop and it features a view of Bonne Bay and a view of Gros Morne. After, take a walk to the top of the community of Trout River (via 140 stairs) on the glacially uplifted ancient beach then follow the trail on the plateau to view sea stacks, cliff formations and oceanscapes or enjoy a stroll through this scenic community.

Please note: There is significant amount of walking of approximate 5km (3.10 miles) and approximately 200 steps to traverse on foot, making the excursion unsuitable for guests with mobility issues. Guests needing to turn back to the coach may do so as needed. Coaches, guides, and services are the best-available but may not be up to the standards of those found on other destinations therefore, we urge flexibility and understanding. Vehicles used are local yellow school busses and due to the limited number of vehicles, every seat on the tour vehicle will be utilized. Dress in layers with sturdy, closed toe walking shoes/boots, weatherproof jacket, and bring sun protection and insect repellent.
