Place Royale
Depart the pier for a scenic drive by Place Royale, a beautifully restored market square of 17th- and 18th-century stone architecture located in the heart of the Lower Town. Place Royale was the site of Champlain's first settlement and the oldest standing Catholic Church in Canada, Notre-Dame-des-Victoires. From here, proceed to Le Château Frontenac area.
Château Frontenac Photo Stop
Located 200 feet above the waterway, this is Québec’s most celebrated landmark. This magnificent, green-turreted castle was built in 1893 by the Canadian Pacific Railroad.
Montmorency Falls
Next drive through the scenic National Battlefields Park, or 'Plains of Abraham', along the Grande-Allée and past the Hôtel du Parlement en route to Montmorency Falls. A brief photo stop is made here to marvel at the Montmorency River roaring over the cliff and down to the St. Lawrence River.
Your tour concludes with a brief drive back to the pier.
