Excursion Hiking on the lopes mendes atlantic rain forest tour at Ilha Grande

Embark on a schooner and hike to reach the notable Lopes Mendes Beach, voted one of the top 10 most beautiful in the world. The water is shallow a long way out, making for good surfing conditions.  

Depart from Abraao village pier by schooner to Mangues beach and enjoy a 40-minute scenic sailing. Upon arrival, enjoy a 45-minute hike along a relatively steep footpath along the Aroeira Forest to Lopes Mendes beach, known for its fine white sand and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy two hours of leisure time on the beach before returning back to Abraao village.

Please note: A 40-minute boat cruise to/from Mangues Beach. An moderate amount of walking for approximately 40 minutes over steep terrain over bump, uneven surfaces (and inclines). This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, sun protection, swimsuit and towel is recommended. No bathroom facilities on the beach.
