Excursion Feiticeria beach & blue lake tour at Ilha Grande
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
Discover the hidden gems of Brazil's coastal paradise as you sail aboard a speedboat to Praia da Feiticeira (Sorceress Beach). This secluded cove in Ilha Grande boasts crystalline waters warmer than its neighboring beaches, creating the perfect setting for a refreshing swim or peaceful relaxation.
You can choose to stay beachside or venture out on an invigorating 40-minute hike through the Atlantic Forest to reach the crown jewel of Ilha Grande – the Feiticeira Waterfall. The moderate to challenging trail winds through pristine rainforest, over natural stone pathways and beneath a verdant canopy. Your reward? A magnificent 50-foot / 15-meter cascade that has earned its reputation as the island's most visited waterfall.
Your journey continues to the aptly named Lagoa Azul (Blue Lagoon), a natural aquarium nestled between two picturesque islets. This crystal-clear sanctuary, with its powdery sand bottom and vibrant azure waters, offers exceptional snorkeling opportunities. Float with provided noodles while observing the rich marine life below, or dive in to get a closer look at the colorful tropical fish in their natural habitat.
