Explore Huahine’s Lagoon and Landscapes on an Electric Bike Adventure

Get ready for a scenic and eco-friendly journey along the stunning lagoon of Huahine. Your adventure begins at the dock, where you'll be provided with an electric bike and helmet. After a brief introduction to electric bike riding, you'll set off on a guided ride to the eastern part of the island, immersing yourself in Huahine’s natural beauty and cultural sites.

Pedal comfortably with the assistance of your e-bike, which reaches speeds of up to 25 km/h (15.6 mph), allowing you to explore more of the island with ease. Along the route, you'll discover fascinating archaeological sites, enjoy a refreshing swim at the beach near Le Mahana Hotel, and take in breathtaking views of traditional villages and lush rural landscapes.

Starting from Maroe, your ride will take you around the southern part of the island, passing by the marina and stopping at the scenic Tefareii viewpoint. You’ll also visit the archaeological site of Anini Marae, an important cultural landmark. A highlight of the tour is a relaxing 40-minute stop at Parea Beach, perfect for soaking in the island’s serene atmosphere.

While the ride is assisted, good physical condition is recommended to keep pace with the group over approximately 30 km (18 miles) of mostly flat terrain, in warm and humid tropical conditions. This approximately 3.5-hour excursion offers a fantastic way to discover Huahine’s natural and cultural wonders in a fun, environmentally friendly manner.

Please note: Guests must be able to ride a bicycle for approximately 3 hrs over various terrain and inclines. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition and confident bikers only. It is not suitable for guest with limited mobility, back issues, heart or breathing problems, or those who cannot pedal a bicycle for long periods of time. Guests must be at least 14 years old and 4.5 feet tall to participate in this tour. All necessary materials and bike equipment will be provided (bike and helmets). We advise guests to submit their height & weight information to the Shore Concierge team onboard. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection and insect repellent from the ship.
