Note

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking. We recommend guests wear light comfortable clothing and comfortable walking shoes and bring sun protection, a hat, and sunglasses. Please note that temperatures at this time of the year can get very high. We suggest bringing your filled Silversea drinking bottle to remain hydrated during the outing as well as local currency (Caboverdian Escudos) for any purchases; EURO and USD are accepted in most places. Cape Verde is a low-income country with very basic infrastructure, and vastly different to the western culture mentality. Local conditions may be challenging; therefore, we urge flexibility and understanding as we visit unique and somewhat remote destinations. Coaches, guides, restaurants, equipment, and services are the best-available in the area, but may not be up to the standards of those found on other excursions. The buses are air-cooled and are not equipped with P.A. systems nor microphones. We thank you for your understanding.
