Excursion Camboriu highlights & cable car tour at Portobelo

Camboriu

Discover the beauty of the Camboriu, a village with 80,000 inhabitants and one of the most visited beach resorts of the Santa Catarina State.

Following the departure from the downtown port, a 12Km or a 30-minute drive will take you to Camboriu City Resort. After a short drive through the Atlantic Avenue and its beachfront residential condo's, your first stop will be at the Barra Sul Cable Car Station.

Cable Car ride

Board the Cable Car (each one has a capacity of up to 8 guests) for a short ride 240 meters up to the Atlantic Forest Station. At this station you will debark on foot and explore one of the ecological trails for approximately 45 minutes. Whilst on the trail, local guides along the way will highlight local flora and fauna, before your return to the Cable Car and your ride to the Laranjeiras station. Here you will debark and have free time of approximately 45-minutes to explore the beach. Again, reboard the Cable Car back to Barra Sul Station. Then leaving Camboriu, drive back into the countryside and to the pier for the tender ride back to your ship.

Note

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking (with many steps) and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair. We suggest wearing comfortable clothing, walking shoes as well as sun protection. Please wear your swimsuit under a cover up if you wish to swim at the beach as there is 45 minutes of free time to explore the shops or swim. Towels will be provided by the ship. This tour is not recommended for guests who suffer from claustrophobia or heights.
