Your journey begins with views of the charming village of Ferragudo and the hilltop Castle of São João do Arade, a historic fortress that once protected the Arade River entrance. From here, cruise east past Carvoeiro and enjoy panoramic views of hidden beaches and dramatic coastal rock formations.

Continue along the spectacular coastline to the grottoes of Algar Seco and Benagil, one of the most photographed spots in Portugal. Here, you will enter sea caves carved over centuries by wind and water, revealing awe-inspiring natural beauty. Your guide will carefully navigate into the grottoes, offering fantastic photo opportunities and insight into the area’s geological history.

After your exploration, cruise gently back to Portimão, soaking in the scenic beauty of the Algarve’s golden cliffs and turquoise waters.

Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking, with 2–4 steps to board the boat. Surfaces may be uneven and cobbled. Although walking is minimal, but this tour is not recommended for guests with limited mobility, in wheelchair, pregnant women or those with back or neck issues, or those whos suffer from seasickness as the RIB boat ride may involve some motion and bumby conditions. There are no toilet facilities on the boat. Comfortable, non-slip shoes, sun protection, and a camera are strongly recommended. This tour is weather dependent. Guests must be at least six years old to participate.
