Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 1.25-hour drive into the heart of the Annapolis Valley, along the shores of the Bay of Fundy. Upon arrival, head to the award-winning winery for a guided tasting.

Next, re-board your coach and head to a second winery. Upon arrival, take a guided walking tour of the vineyard, then visit their state-of-the-art tasting room for a tasting of two-three wines. During the wine tasting, learn about the cool climate that helps to produce their aromatic whites, reds, and new appellation wine, Tidal Bay. The first wine appellation for Nova Scotia and one-of-a-kind for North America, Tidal Bay is a crisp, aromatic white wine displaying the unique characteristics of this cool climactic region.
Grand-Pré, Dyked Farmlands, Gaspereau & Cornwallis Rivers
Leaving the second winery, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 1.25-hour drive back to the pier. En route, learn about this region’s rich Acadian history as you pass through the dyked farm fields of Grand-Pré (Great Meadow), an UNESCO World Heritage Site. This rural community in King’s County, Nova Scotia lies at the eastern edge of the Annapolis Valley on a peninsula jutting into the Minas Basin. Grand-Pré is surrounded by extensive, dyked farm fields, and framed by the Gaspereau and Cornwallis rivers. Grand-Pré was made famous by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, Evangeline, and is today home to the Grand-Pré National Historic Site. Your tour concludes back at the pier.
