Excursion Alerce forest eco-walk & german museum tour at Puerto Montt

At Lahuen Ñadi Forest, follow boardwalk trails through one of the region’s last accessible stands of alerce trees, among the oldest living trees in the world. Surrounded by native forest, learn about this unique ecosystem and the importance of protecting these remarkable species. A visit to the Nueva Braunau Colonization Museum provides insight into the Austrian settlers who helped shape the character of Chile’s Lake District during the late 19th century. In Puerto Varas, known as the "City of Roses," admire its German-influenced architecture and scenic setting on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, with views of Osorno Volcano when weather permits. Time is available to stroll through the town and browse local handicrafts.
