Your first visit is to Klazomenai Ancient City, one of the most important archaeological sites in the history of olive oil production. Once a thriving Ionian settlement, Klazomenai is known for housing one of the earliest olive oil workshops dating back to the 6th century BC. During your guided visit, explore the remains of ancient presses and production areas, and learn how olive oil played a vital role in trade, daily life, and early industry in the Mediterranean world.

After lunch, re-board your coach for the scenic return drive of approximately 30-minutes to Çesme Port.

Klazomenai Ancient City is an open-air archaeological site with uneven ground, and the Köstem Olive Oil Museum includes some stairs and internal walking. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users. Comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes and light clothing suitable for outdoor conditions are strongly recommended. Sun protection is advised, especially during warmer months. The order of visits may vary depending on operational conditions.
