Mambalan Village
Traveling from the harbor of Lembar, a leisurely morning drive of one hour and 45-minutes takes you to the hamlet of Dusun Buwuh where the starting point of your trek. Upon arrival, your tour guide takes you through the agricultural land of Mambalan. Typically land devoted to agriculture, the systematic and controlled use of other forms of life - particularly the production of crops. Walk through rice - paddy fields, and see several kinds of planting crops, such as: tomato, ground nuts, long beans, chili and cassava as their second crops as well as tropical fruits such as banana and papaya before arriving at the finish point. Upon arrival at the finish point of your walk at Mambalan Village, you'll have a chance to refresh while enjoying a young coconut and watch the local people process Sate Pusut (Minced Meat Satay), a popular dish from the Island of Lombok. The word "Pusut" roughly means "wrap around", the meat is usually wrapped around the bamboo skewers, then grilled to perfection and served with soy and chili sauce.
At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your motor coach and you'll be transported back to the Harbor of Gili Mas, approximately a one hour and 45-minute drive from the village of Mambalan.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking and hiking of approximately 0.80 miles (1 kilometre) on uneven surfaces and extended period of standing. Guests should be physically fit to participate in this tour. It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight comfortable clothing, and flat, closed-toe walking shoes are recommended.
Infrastructure in Gili Mas is basic: coaches, guides, hotels, restaurants, equipment, and services are the best-available in the area, but may not be up to the standards of those found on other excursions. Traffic may impact the duration of your tour. While riding your coach you may observe local life and Lombok countryside. Although English is very popular language in Indonesia, local Tour Guides tend to have a strong accent therefore we urge flexibility and understanding.
