Food and Beer Tasting

Here enjoy a tasting menu consisting of the local specialties of Reindeer, musk ox, dried fish, whale and seal, combined with a tasting of local beer. The nearby small city Narsaq has a local micro brewery, and you will receive samples of the local beer. You will get an introduction to the food, Inuit habits and tradition.

It is a good way to combine your knowledge about Qaqortoq and a cultural insight of the Inuit peoples' food and habits in the Arctic.

Please note: This tour requires a moderate amount of walking for approximately 1 kilometre, at times over uneven terrain and inclines. This tour takes place entirely on-foot, and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Warm, layered clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes or boots, insect repellent and sun protection are recommended.
