Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive to Trebah Gardens. This spectacular, approximately 26-acre (about 10.5 hectare) Cornish ravine garden is rated among the 80 finest gardens in the world, and listed as one of Cornwall's five great gardens. This sub-tropical paradise is home to a unique collection of rare and exotic plants, trees and shrubs winding down to a private, secluded beach on the Helford River.

Upon arrival, take an exclusive guided tour of the gardens. Along the way, marvel at the water gardens with waterfalls and koi carp, glades of 100-year-old ferns and 18-foot-high (about 5.5-metre-high) giant gunneva (rhubarb). The gardens at Trebah have a long history dating back over 150 years, and are adorned with waterfalls, rock pools, rare trees and shrubs that provide an undulating carpet of colour.


Departing the gardens, make the journey back to Falmouth Port.

Note

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 0.93 miles (about 1.5 kilometres), at times over steep slopes, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair, provided they have a collapsible wheelchair, are able to get on/off the coach on their own, and are accompanied by an able-bodied companion to assist them.

Comfortable, layered clothing, a waterproof jacket or coat, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Due to the local climate, most of the coaches are air-cooled.
