Upon arrival at the Hacienda Doña Engracia, explore a trio of uniquely Mexican spirits and flavours during a guided walking tour.

Artesian Chocolate Demonstration & Tasting

Your tour begins with an artesian chocolate demonstration and tasting. During this activity, a cacao pod is collected, opened, and offered to you and your fellow guests to taste in the tasting room. Afterward, observe and learn about the cacao washing, drying, and fermentation processes involved in turning it into chocolate, and sample the finished product.

Next, make a toast to the spirits of Mexico during a tasting of three different cocktails made with tequila distilled from agave. Following your guided tour, stop by the hacienda’s store, La Engracia, to browse the handicrafts, spirits, and organic products available for sale. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 186 yards (about 170 metres), at times over uneven, cobblestone, and natural surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and four steps at the Hacienda Doña Engracia. Walking at the Hacienda Doña Engracia is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, insect repellent, bottled water, and US Dollars, local currency, or credit cards for purchases from the ship. Guests must be at least eight years old to participate on this tour; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years old. Guests must be at least 18 years old to participate in tastings of alcoholic beverages. The tour sequence may vary.
