Enjoy a comfortable 60-minute UTV journey from Sisimiut’s harbor, combining cultural discoveries with the beauty of the Arctic landscape. Your first stop is Dog Town, home to Greenland’s renowned sled dogs, which have supported life beyond the Arctic Circle for more than 4,000 years. Here, your guide shares insights into local traditions and indicates which dogs are safe to approach. Continuing into the backcountry, travel through Sisimiut’s scenic surroundings towards the waterfall near Anker’s Hut—an inviting setting to pause and appreciate the peaceful wilderness, before returning to town. Travelling in a stable, side-by-side vehicle, this experience offers a relaxed yet immersive way to explore Sisimiut’s unique nature and heritage.

Please note: This excursion involves off-road driving over natural and uneven terrain, which may result in occasional bumps along the route; however, the UTV provides a stable and comfortable ride. Each UTV accommodates a maximum of 6 people (1 driver and up to 5 guests). As a safety reminder, guests must always follow the guide’s instructions and remain seated with seatbelts fastened while the vehicle is in motion. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, those with neck or back conditions, heart or respiratory issues, or limited mobility. A liability waiver must be signed prior to participation. All necessary equipment is provided, including helmet, and protective outerwear. Guests should dress in warm, layered clothing with a windproof jacket and comfortable outdoor footwear. As conditions may be dusty or muddy, we recommend wearing clothing that can get dirty.
