Embark on a 60-minute ATV journey from Sisimiut’s harbor that combines cultural experiences with the beauty of nature. The initial destination is Dogtown, the residence of Greenland’s renowned sled dogs, which have been vital to life beyond the Arctic Circle for more than 4,000 years. At this location, the guide narrates tales of dog sledding and indicates which dogs are safe to pet. Following this, venture into the backcountry towards the waterfall near Anker’s hut, a picturesque area to take a break and appreciate the wilderness before heading back to town. This hour-long excursion offers a blend of excitement, local heritage, and Arctic scenery, a genuine glimpse into the wild essence of Sisimiut.

Please note: Off-road driving over bumpy and uneven natural surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the ATV vehicle. The ride may be rough at times, and guests will experience bumpy, jerking motions. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck/back problems, guests with heart/respiratory conditions, or guests with limited mobility. Each ATV is designed for a single rider and accommodates one guest only. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid physical driver's license. A liability waiver must be signed prior to participation. All necessary equipment is provided, including ATV, helmet, and protective outerwear. Dress in warm, layered clothing with a windproof jacket and comfortable outdoor footwear. As conditions can be dusty or muddy, we recommend wearing clothes that can get dirty.
