Excursion Rauma and the unesco world heritage sites tour at Andalsnes

Experience history on a guided tour of Rauma's UNESCO World Heritage sites: the vibrant wooden town center of Old Rauma and the Sammallahdenmäki Bronze Age burial site.

Embark from the pier and board your coach for the 30-minute drive to Sammallahdenmäki.

Begin your 45-minute nature walk through the Finnish forest. Discover the burial cairns of Sammallahdenmäki. Explore these as a unique whole that illustrate the religious and burial traditions of the people who lived in West Finland during the Scandinavian Bronze Age (1500-50 BC). Delight in being greeted by Bronze Age-dressed locals during your hike, which brings you to Kivikylä. Arrive at a family-run food factory for a barbeque of grilled sausages with drinks before you reboard your coach.
