New York City Sights, Panoramic Drive

Depart the pier for a sightseeing drive of the city that never sleeps. Pass one New York icon after another including Central Park, Lincoln Centre, Dakota Building, Fifth Avenue, Times Square and the neighborhoods of Harlem, and many more.

Rockefeller Center, Top of the Rock Observation Deck

Treat yourself to one of the city's most exciting experiences and visit Rockefeller Center's Top of the Rock. Seventy floors above the city, it is the most spectacular view in New York City. The view itself is unique and astonishing, unobstructed for 360 degrees and stretching for miles in every direction. Back on the ground you will see the annual location for New York's spectacular Christmas tree and nostalgic ice-skating rink.

Continue Downtown through SoHo and Greenwich Village before stopping at the Grand Central Station.

Grand Central Terminal & Free Time (Lunch, Shopping)

Originally constructed by a shipping tycoon, Cornelius Vanderbilt, the Grand Central Depot was opened in October 1871 and served only three lines, the New York Central-Hudson River railroad, New York-Harlem railroad and the New York-New Haven-Hartford railroad. Nowadays, this historic world-famous landmark in Midtown Manhattan is not only a transportation hub-it is also a shopping, dining, and cultural destination with 60 shops, 35 places to eat, and a full calendar of events all under one magnificent roof. Here, you will have some free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure.

Continue your scenic drive through Financial District towards your next stop.

9/11 Memorial

Rising from the ashes of Ground Zero, the 9/11 Memorial consists of two massive pools set within the original footprints of the Twin Towers with 30-foot waterfalls cascading down their sides. Framing them are the names of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. You will have time to view and contemplate the Memorial; please be reminded that the 9/11 Memorial is a place of remembrance and quiet reflection.

Statue of Liberty

Board your coach and drive to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal for a final glimpse of the Lady Liberty in the distance. The Statue of Liberty was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the United States and is recognized as a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. Your full-day New York discovery concludes with a drive through Chinatown and a transfer to the JFK and LaGuardia airports for your flight home.
