Enjoy a hike going from 0 to 328 ft of elevation around the impressive Darwin Lake. Experts theorise that long ago the water level rose and created this extremely salty lake.

While crossing a Palo Santo tree forest, you will be able to admire different species of land birds including Galapagos Hawks, Large-billed Flycatchers, ground and tree finches and even sometimes the Woodpecker Finch.

The highest point of the trail is very rewarding with a spectacular view of Fernandina Island and four of the six main volcanoes of Isabela Island.
