Embark for approximately one-hour scenic drive through Chicoutimi and learn about the area's history and culture. Upon arrival at the Jardins de Sophie, visit this family's farm and meet their passionate owner who will share their experience of gardening, organic farming practices, old tractors and equipment usage and their love of patrimonial home renovations. Visit Sophie's farm buildings and see their vegetable booth, roots cellar, greenhouse, nursery and forge.

Tasting & Preparation of Gourmet Local Foods

Continue to the farm's kitchen and enjoy flavorful homemade foods prepared by the chef where some of their farm's fresh products will be proudly featured. Please note: This tour requires a moderate amount of easy walking and standing for about 1 hour at the farm, with a several steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at the sites visited. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility but not those guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a lightweight jacket and bottled water from the ship. The tour might operate on a Yellow School Bus depending on availability of the coaches.
