Murillo Gardens
With your Orbita Urban Bike, enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Seville by taking a long ride along the river banks in Triana bordering Calle Betis. This tour will continue to the Murillo Gardens. The gardens are made up of small arbors with fountains. Previously known as the Retiro Gardens or Orchards, it belonged to the Reales Alcazares of Seville until 1862. They were donated to the city to be integrated in the Seville Fair which was then held in the nearby Prado de San Sebastian. The gardens as we know them today, were designed in 1915 by Juan Talavera. In 1918, at the request of the El Liberal newspaper editor, they were re- named Murillo Gardens as the painter was buried in the church nearby. Some of the plant species in the gardens are Magnolia and Orange trees, night jasmine amongst many.
Monument to Tolerance
During your ride, you will see the Monument to Tolerance by Eduardo Chillida which depicts the 1492 expulsion of the Jews by Catholic kings. It represents the five hundred years or more of the expulsion of the Jews from the area, and at the same time it expresses the hope that people, Christian, Arab, Jew will meet again here and be friends. This is precisely the idea that the monument reflects.
Jardines de Chapina, Puente del Cachorro, American Gardens
Jardines de Chapina, Puente del Cachorro, and the American Gardens which were completed for Expo 92. It is a public botanic garden, with a representative collection of American plants donated by different countries on the occasion of the world exposition.
Huevo de Colón
From there bike into Alamillo Park and visit the Huevo de Colón, otherwise known as the Columbus egg. It is a monument consisting of a colossal statue representing Christopher Columbus partially enfolded by an egg-like shell. It was a gift from the city of Moscow to Seville on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Columbus in the Caribbean in 1492. It is ranked as the largest statue in Spain.
Barranco Market Refreshment
Enjoy a refreshment stop a the Barranco market including 1 drink and 1 tapa. The market is housed in a 19th century galvanized-iron building originally created as a fish market.
La Casa de Pilatos
You will finish at the House of Pilate otherwise known as La Casa de Pilatos which is an Andalusian Palace which serves as the permanent residence of the Dukes of Medinaceli. It is an example of an Italian Renaissance building with Mudejar elements and decorations. It is considered the prototype of the Andalusian Palace.
Enjoy nature, away from the noise of the city in a relaxing atmosphere.
Finish the bike tour, and you will then be transferred to the ship by coach which takes 10 minutes.

Bike model used is "Orbita Urban bike" and this is not an E-bike. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition, and experienced and confident bicycle-riders as the ride goes over crowded areas and streets with motorized vehicles. Lightweight comfortable clothing, and flat, closed-toe walking shoes are recommended. We recommend guests to bring a bottle of water from the ship.
