Excursion Cumbuco beach break tour at Fortaleza

Fortaleza is blessed with many spectacular beaches and Cumbuco Beach is no exception. Just 50-minutes drive from the city and attached to a small fishing village, the beach is distinguished by its rolling white sand dunes and empty stretches of sand lined with coconut trees.

Cumbuco Beach

Depart the pier by coach for the scenic, approximately 50-minute drive to Cumbuco beach for a few hours of sun-bathing or anything you wish. Upon arrival at the beach, enjoy a complimentary coconut water drink before nestling down in to your piece of this fabulous stretch of beach. This beach is a popular spot for kite surfing, sand boarding and buggy tours - the latter, available for purchase on the spot, involve a hair-raising ride over the bumps and inclines that will leave you giddy and white-knuckled and most likely eager for more!

A more sedate activity available is horse riding, although the most popular activity is of course soaking up the sun on the beach.

At the appointed time, re-join your coach for the return drive to the pier and your awaiting ship.

Please note: Tour involves minimal to moderate walking and is up to the discretion of the guest. It is not suitable for guests who utilise a wheelchair. We recommend wearing a swimsuit under a cover-up, water shoes, sun protection and bring a towel from the ship. Please note that Cumbuco Beach, as most of Brazilian beaches, is not equipped with sunbeds but there are umbrellas and plastic tables and chairs available. This program includes round-trip transportation and a welcome drink of coconut water. Additional activities, meals or beverages are at the guests' own expense.
