Following the trail of Australia's early explorers, your coach will climb high into the Blue Mountains. Sit back and enjoy this awe-inspiring grand canyon of giant rock formations, geological history, and cascading waterfalls. Take in the beauty of the natural bushland and the many outlying western suburbs that form part of greater Sydney. Then you will drive through numerous small towns along the way that provide a weekend escape for many of the city's residents.

At Echo Point enjoy some free time to explore. See the famous rock formation, the Three Sisters and relish awesome panoramic views of the Jamieson Valley, Mount Solitary, the Ruined Castle, Katoomba Falls and the Burraborang Valley, all offering memorable photo opportunities.

Afterwards, enjoy a delicious two-course lunch within the Blue Mountains area before re-boarding your coach for approximately two-hour drive to the airport.

Please note: This tour is available to disembarking guests with flights departing Sydney International Airport after 7:00p.m. Guests must claim and clear their bags through Customs at the pier. Luggage will then accompany guests on the coach. This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, at times over natural and sandy surfaces, with few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. Walking at Echo Point is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilize a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. The driving distance between Sydney and the Blue Mountains is approximately two hours in each direction. Due to Australian occupational health and safety regulations, drivers are unable to lift more than 33 pounds (about 15 kilograms), but generally, all are helpful. There are no porters at the airport; guests will have to independently manage luggage from the coach drop-off area to flight check-in. Order of sights visited may vary and the itinerary may be reversed. A minimum number of participants is required for this excursion to operate.
