AN EVENING WITH THE LORD MAYOR

With its impressive dome atop which stands a statue of Minerva, Goddess of Wisdom, The National Heritage List for England refers to Liverpool Town Hall as "one of the finest surviving 18th century town halls." It was built between 1749 and 1754 and situated in the heart of the city. Enjoy a private tour of this magnificent building before, you enjoy a cocktail party hosted by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool. Present by special invitation, the Lord Mayor is a title a for a mayor of a major city in the United Kingdom, with special recognition bestowed on them by the Queen. Return to the ship for a late dinner.

For organisational reason, we kindly ask our guests to book the event before, and not later than, September 26, 2018. Space on this tour is extremely limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment. This event is exclusive to Silversea guests when we are visiting; however, you may opt to purchase tickets during the day of the event to attend on your own. This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, inclines and 80 steps to negotiate at the venue; alternative accesses and lifts are available throughout the complex. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes are recommended. Guests must be at least 21 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. The tour sequence may vary.
