Excursion Ngilgi cave & cape naturaliste lighthouse tour at Busselton

Cruise line: Silversea
Difficulty:

Board your coach and travel to Ngligi Cave, located near Yallingup, at the northern end of the Cape to Cape region. Its first European discovery was in 1899, but the cave was well known to the indigenous people of the region.

Ngilgi Cave is named after one of the Wardandi Aboriginal people's 'dreamtime' spirits. The story Ngilgi was a good spirit who lived in the ocean, while Wolgine was a bad spirit who once lived in the cave. Uncover Ngilgi Cave's fascinating history as you visit an interpretive area of the cave.

Afterwards depart for the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, where you will be given time to explore the grounds and listen to the history of the lighthouse provided by the guide onsite.
