Excursion Kayaking in GatÚn Lake and visiting the Agua Clara locks tour at Colon

A perfect excursion for lovers of nature, adventure and sport: an exciting kayak tour in Gatún Lake, amidst dense tropical vegetation, among pristine islands that characterize it, and then go to discover the functioning of the Panama Canal with a visit to the Agua Clara locks.

• This adventure begins with boarding the air-conditioned coach and transfer to theRainforest Lodge & Marina.
• Upon your arrival we will board the kayak, take the necessary equipment and begin this kayaking adventure on Gatun Lake of the Panama Canal. 
• This is a great tour for the more adventurous and physically able passengers. Nature is the most common sight in the area where wildlife is abundant.
• We will have a light snack before starting our kayaking adventure on Gatún Lake. This large artificial lake which provides water to operate the canal locks was created between 1907 and 1913 together with the dam of the same name and is dotted with over 100 islands with a great variety of flora and fauna.
< li>After our kayak tour, we will return to the starting point and travel by coach to the Agua Clara Locks, where we will see how the canal lock system works at the visitor center. A series of three locks raises boats to a height of 27 meters above sea level within Lake Gatún. After being lifted, the ships are lowered at the end of their transit into the other ocean.
• After seeing the locks in operation, we get back on board the coach and return to the ship.
